About the Chamber

The Waterloo Chamber of Commerce was established in 1929 and has been a supporter of our local businesses and community in Waterloo, Illinois, ever since.

Today, the Chamber’s goal is to partner with our members to help each of them promote and grow their business while also serving as an advocate for them. We help to make you VISIBLE within our community!

In addition to the support we provide to local businesses, we also work towards building community. As a citizen of Waterloo, you’ve likely attended one or more of the events that the Chamber helps host each year, including the annual Porta Westfalica Festival, which is co-hosted with the Waterloo Sister Cities and the Waterloo Lions.

Likewise, the Chamber awards two scholarships annually to local high school Seniors.

The Waterloo Chamber has a full-time executive director and is governed by a nine-member board. The Chamber receives no funds from state or local government.

We welcome all businesses and organizations who do business in Monroe County to join us and be a part of our thriving organization!
