Golfers, join us for our annual Waterloo Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, taking place Thursday, September 15th, Noon, at Mystic Oak Golf Course! Cost: $400/team of four, includes golf, carts, skins game, chance to win a new car, closest to the pin and longest drive contest, lunch, and dinner! This is a perfect event for networking in a casual environment! You do not need to be a chamber member in order to participate.

3rd Annual May Music & Market Festival – May 7th

Get ready for a great day of music, games, shopping, food, and fun! The 3rd Annual May Music & Market Festival takes place Saturday, May 7th, 9am-4pm at the Monroe County Courthouse Square. We will have 6 LIVE musical groups performing at the historic bandstand throughout the day! Bring your lawn chairs, sit a spell, and enjoy the sweet sounds!

First National Bank of Waterloo will have a Shred Truck at the corner of Market and Mill Street from 9 – Noon, so be sure to bring your discarded papers.

Helping Strays will host an adoption event, and several local businesses will provide children’s games.

We will have food and beverage vendors on hand to tempt your taste buds!

And of course, there will be many artisans, crafters, retailers, vintage dealers, and more for your shopping pleasure!

We are anticipating a great day, so be sure to save the date and join us!

2nd Annual May Music & Market Festival – May 9th – Downtown Waterloo

The Waterloo Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the 2nd Annual May Music & Market Festival, May 9th, in beautiful downtown Waterloo at the Monroe County Courthouse grounds. The event will be held 9 am – 4pm, and will feature music, retail and local business vendors, along with food and games for children.

Live music will be enjoyed at the bandstand throughout the day, featuring local talent. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a day of great music! Our featured musicians are LIFECHURCH-Waterloo, All Tooned Up, Burnt Toast Acoustic, Chris Krause, and The Better Class of Losers.

Helping Strays will hold an adoption event on the grounds, and First National Bank of Waterloo will sponsor a shred truck from 9 – 11 am.

Save the Date and join us, Wednesday, October 8 at the Waterloo High School (Illinois) Auditorium, at 7pm, for the 2014 Meet the Candidates Election Forum! Learn more about our local candidates ahead of the November 4th election! This event is hosted by the Waterloo Chamber of CommerceRepublic-Times, and Monroe County Independent.
