May Music and Market Day Scheduled for May 10 in Downtown Waterloo

The Waterloo Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a new event in beautiful downtown Waterloo at the Monroe County Courthouse grounds. May Market Day will take place Saturday, May 10, 9 am – 4pm, and will feature retail and local business vendors, along with food and games for children.

In addition, live music will be enjoyed at the bandstand throughout the day, featuring acoustic music by Brad Noe, 9 – 11 am, the Kaskaskia Trail Chorus, 11 am – Noon, and George Portz and His Friends of Bluegrass, Noon – 4pm. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy a day of great music!

Helping Strays will hold an adoption event on the grounds, and First National Bank of Waterloo will sponsor a shred truck from 9 – 11 am.
