The Historic Capitol Theatre


Monroe Actors Stage Company will present the Thornton Wilder classic “Our Town” on Friday, Saturday, Sunday April 4,5,6,11,12, 13 at the historic Capitol Theatre in Waterloo.  Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30p.m. and Sunday performances are at 2:30p.m. Following the Sunday, April 6th peformance all audience members will be invited to meet the cast in the Oddfellows Hall for refreshments.

MASC veteran John Campbell is directing this version of the American theatre classic set in fictional Grovers Corners, New Hampshire.  It centers around ordinary people in an ordinary small town, which is precisely what makes the play so appealing to audiences everywhere.

The large cast features veteran actor Richard Hunsaker as the stage manager.  Newcomers in the cast are Emily Feazel, Josh Porter, Rebecca Zimmerman, Josh Vise, Maggie Dillard, Kyle Puder, Jeff Porter and Steve Puder.  Returning to the MASC stage for this show are David Zimmerman, Maria Wilken, Patricia Hunsaker, Andrew Notheison, Sam Baker, Joseph Douglas, Seth Dillard, Howard Heavner, Ron Klein, Lindell Webb, Dan Irwin, Ellen Heavner, Christine Miller, Pat Webb, and Dawn Williamson.  Kara Richeson serves as assistant director, with sound design by Ed Pfeiffer and lighting design by Mark Feazel.
