Morrison-Talbott Library, 215 Park Street, Waterloo will host Andrew Cooperman February 13, 2014 at 7 p.m. to present Preserving Family Heirlooms. His program will cover ways to store photographs, letters, cloth items and three dimensional objects. You will leave with a hand out to aid you in putting the evening’s suggestions to work in your home.

Keepsakes and family antiques may have found a new home this holiday season as relatives pass on family treasures and keepsakes. As a new keeper of the past you may have questions on how to preserve these pieces for the future.

Andrew Cooperman has the experience to give you the advice you need. Cooperman’s career involved working for the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency and the city of St. Louis Historic Preservation Society. He is well acquainted with preserving the past.
