is glad to partner with the Alzheimer’s Association to do three programs this year:

Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body;

Know the 10 Signs; and

The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Each program will begin at 7 p.m.

These programs are free and ideal for providing information on memory loss to the general public.

Healthy Living for your Brain and Body will be presented May 22, 2017. You will learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these tips into a plan for healthy aging.

Know the 10 Signs will be presented August 21, 2017. Let the Alzheimer’s Association help you separate myth from reality and address commonly-held fears about Alzheimer’s disease. Find out how to recognize the signs, learn the benefits of early detection, and discover resources to help.

The Basics: Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s will be presented November 20, 2017. This is a comprehensive overview of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease that includes information on diagnosis, progression, treatment, resources and support.

But now, science is able to provide insights into how to make lifestyle choices that may help your brain and body stay healthy as you age.
