is glad to partner with The Wellness Champions

to present Handling Stress,

December 1, 2017 at 1 p.m.

Dr. Kristina M. Heafner will be the speaker.

The Wellness Champions are a professional group of health experts who maximize wellness in the workplace and day to day life! This group makes recommendations on the topics of stress management, nutrition, and healthy routines as an introduction to the more basic foundations of overall health.

The doctors involved with The Wellness Champions receive comprehensive training.  They are able to work with technology that was used in two NASA missions.  These are not dry, boring gatherings, but rather pivotal calls to take immediate action with healthy daily routines. The emphasis is on proactive steps, not merely the avoidance of disease. For more information Please contact Core Physical Medicine at 618-476-6677 or coresouthphysicalmed@gmail.com

Dr. Kristina M. Heafner, the speaker for the program, graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic at Logan University.  She has volunteered at the St. Louis Veteran’s Administration Medical Center and St. Patrick’s Center.  In her spare time, Dr. Heafner returns to her family homestead to help out.

This talk will help you learn how to minimize stress but also, maximize your longevity. Techniques will be taught to lower blood pressure, fight insomnia, and limit fatigue. While heart attacks kill more Americans every year than any other cause, stress is the number one trigger to this disease. During this talk learn the signs and symptoms of stress, what the three different variables of stress are, and helpful tips to manage them.
