Waterloo Chamber of Commerce Offering Two Scholarships

The Waterloo Chamber of Commerce is interested in supporting and advancing educational opportunities for youth in the Waterloo Community. To help our local students meet the ever-rising costs of higher education, the Chamber will offer two $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors.

To be eligible, the applicant must be a student of Gibault Catholic High School or Waterloo High school and a resident of the Waterloo School District for at least 12 months prior to application. The applicant must be a high school senior planning to enter an accredited college, university, junior college, or vocational school in the fall of this year. Applicants will be judged on school and community activities, academic record, work experience, character, and references.

Interested students may pick up an application at the guidance office at both Gibault Catholic High School and Waterloo High School. Applications are also available at the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce office (118 East Third Street) or by downloading them from the Chamber’s website: (Go to Forms).

All completed applications must be returned to the chamber (118 East Third Street, Waterloo) on or before April 15th.
