Waterloo Santa Float

It’s time for the Waterloo Santa Float!

Every year on the 8 nights before Christmas, Santa and his helpers drive through the residential streets of Waterloo, bringing joy to all!

Children, be sure to come outside when Santa arrives to receive a special treat!

Brought to you by the Waterloo German Band, Waterloo Chamber of Commerce, City of Waterloo, and Waterloo Sister Cities, the Santa Float is a wonderful Waterloo Tradition! You will be able to hear the sirens and music from quite a distance, to give you time to grab your coats and shoes! Don’t miss out on the fun!!

Santa and his helpers will visit each neighborhood twice between December 17 and 24. For the full schedule, click here.

Advent Windows!

Last year, Downtown Waterloo brought the idea of an Advent Calendar to life, by lighting one extra window every night from December 1 – 25! It was so much fun that we’re doing it again this year! Every night from December 1 – 25, an additional upper floor window in downtown Waterloo (3rd Street, Main Street, Mill Street) will light up with a decoration! December 1 – 3  are the upper floor windows at the Waterloo Chamber of Commerce building! Be sure to bring the children and enjoy this fun new Waterloo tradition!
